Many jewelry stores pierce ears, but a map search does not tell you which ones. Every store in this list names ear piercing in its business name, listing or on its own website — call ahead to ask about age rules, the method they use and whether you need an appointment.

Common questions
Do jewelry stores pierce ears?
Many do, including a lot of mall jewelers and independent jewelers. Policies vary — some pierce walk-ins, some by appointment, and some only pierce ear lobes — so call the store before you go.
How long before I can change new earrings?
Ear lobe piercings are usually left with the starter studs in for at least six weeks, and cartilage piercings take much longer to heal. Follow the aftercare instructions the store gives you and ask before switching to hoops or heavier earrings.
