Permanent jewelry — a clasp-free chain welded around your wrist, ankle or neck — is offered by jewelry stores, studios and pop-up artists, and a map search does not tell you who does it. Every business in this list names permanent or welded jewelry in its business name, listing or on its own website.

Good to know
How is permanent jewelry put on?
The chain is sized to your wrist, ankle or neck and the ends are joined with a small jump ring that is welded shut with a micro welder. There is no clasp, and a leather patch protects the skin during the weld.
Can permanent jewelry be removed?
Yes — it can be cut at the jump ring with scissors or pliers, for example before an MRI or surgery. Many studios will reweld the same chain later for a small fee.
