Good to know
How long does a ring resize take?
A simple resize on a plain gold band is often done in a day or two by a jeweler with an in-house bench jeweler. Rings with stones near the shank, two-tone metal or platinum can take longer, and stores that send repairs to a trade shop usually need one to three weeks.
Can a broken chain be fixed?
Most broken chains can be soldered or fitted with a new clasp or jump ring. Very fine or hollow chains, and chains broken in several places, are harder to repair invisibly — the jeweler may suggest shortening the chain or replacing a section.
